Colonels Coast Past St. Michaels

The Colonel Richardson boys basketball team earned a bounce back win at home Thursday night when they defeated St. Michaels 73-26. The win improves the Colonels to 3-7, while the loss drops the Saints to 0-8.
The game would be back and forth to start. Jaret Bennett would be able to add a couple scores to get the home team started, but the Saints were hanging tough. Brandon Kerrigan would connect on a outside shot to cut their deficit to just 24-12 headed into halftime. CR would come out firing in the second half as they would put the game away with a couple scores from Terrell Hammond.
CR returns to the court Monday when they travel to Queen Anne’s, while St. Michaels host Kent Island on Tuesday.
