Central sweeps Route 9 rivalry

The Sussex Central Golden Knights got their third win of the season on Friday night, beating rival Sussex Tech 77-59 in the Sussex Tech Gymnasiaum in Georgetown.

Sussex Central led the game by more than 20 points late in the second quarter, until Sussex Tech cut the lead to 6 to start the fourth. The Knights would pull away late for the win.

Tech is back in action next Friday when they visit rival Cape Henlopen, while Sussex Central hosts Indian River next Tuesday.
