Cape Henlopen comes back to hold off Lake Forest

The Cape Henlopen girls basketball team gutted out a tough win 55-44 over Lake Forest on Thursday.
Cape trailed 24-21 at the bald, and surged out of the locker room to take a 41-27 leaf after 3. The 17 point difference would allow Cape to cruise in the fourth to the win. Paige Mohr led the Vikings with 12 points while Lexi Watkins chipped in with 11.
Daia Daniels had a team-high 11 points for Lake.
Both teams are back in action on Tuesday as Cape will host Polytech, while Lake Forest welcomes Laurel.
