Cambridge woman charged with threat of arson

A Cambridge woman is facing charges, after Police say she threatened to burn down someone’s home.

Cambridge Police say on Wednesday, Officers responded to a home on Cambridge Beltway, for reports of a disturbance. Once on scene, Police say they met with the caller, who said that they had been involved in an argument with 52-year-old Doris Gross.

Officers then apparently spoke with Gross, who was getting ready to leave the house, and stated that she was going to come back, and burn the house down.

Gross was then taken into custody, and charged with threat of arson. She is now behind bars at the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
