Caesar Rodney Earns 1st Win, Top Sussex Tech

The Caesar Rodney boys basketball team earned their first win of the season as they topped Sussex Tech 64-49. The win improves the Riders to 1-6, while the loss drops the Ravens to 0-8.
Tech would jump out to a nice start to the game, as Brandon Palmer would run the how at the point. He would find Jaquan Burton for a couple easy bucket, then set up Tyzhir Morris for the buzzer beating lay in to end the first. Ravens would be up 5 after the 1st, but it would be all Riders from there. Jaquan Hooks would start to get his teammates involved, finding Jayvon Palmer underneath, and then location shooters on the outside like Jordan Reynolds. CR would take a 5 point lead into halftime and be able to stretch that lead to 10 headed to the 4th. The Riders would close it out there for their first win of the season.
Caesar Rodney returns to work Friday when they host Sussex Central, while Sussex Tech travels to Dover on Friday.
