After scoreless first half, IR drops Delmar

The Indian River girls basketball team trailed 13-0 at the half, only to come back to defeat Delmar 27-22 on Friday night.

Kealey Allison led the Indians with 8 points, while teammate Madison McGee chipped in with 5. For Delmar, Carly Covington led her team with a game-high 10 points.

Indian River is back in action on Monday Febuary 1st when they head to Seaford, while Delmar travels north on Wednesday to take on Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security.
