$1M winning ticket sold in Berlin

No winner was named in the Powerball jackpot drawn on Saturday, which has now climbed to 1.3 billion dollars; however, Maryland lottery officials are looking for the lucky player who bought a winning second-tier ticket in Worcester County.

According to the Maryland Lottery, a ticket worth 1 million dollars was purchased at a Berlin Food Lion for the Saturday drawing.

The winning numbers were 16, 19, 32, 34, 57, and a Powerball of 13. To win the full jackpot, all six numbers must be correct. The first five can be in any order, but the sixth must be the Powerball number.

The Food Lion is located at 10126 Old Ocean City Boulevard.

Lottery officials say the winner should sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location.

The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

The next Powerball jackpot drawing will be held on Wednesday.
