Woman dies of injuries suffered in 2-car crash

Delaware State Police say a driver has died of injuries she suffered in a two-car crash in Ellendale.
It happened about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Fleatown Road at North Old State Road, troopers said in a news release. Police say 62-year-old Cora Lofland of Ellendale was driving west on Fleatown Road when she failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.
Authorities say Lofland’s minivan was hit by a car driven by 39-year-old Angel Gabriel Marquez Torres of Harrington. Police say the minivan then hit a pole.
Lofland was taken to Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital. Troopers say she died there Friday afternoon.
Police say no charges will be filed in this crash.
