White Out Cancer, Pocomoke Rallies Behind Their Coach

Pocomoke high school continues to support their own when they are needed most. After what has already been a rocky school year, the Warriors are now joining the fight with their girls basketball head coach Gail Gladding against cancer.
Friday night, Pocomoke held a pep rally and a “White Out Cancer” night during their double header of basketball games. Throughout the last couple weeks, the students at the school have taken donations, while staff have sold baked goods to help raise over two thousand dollars that will be donated towards cancer research. Friday night they celebrated the support and got ready for their night of basketball by holding a pep rally. During the rally, 6 staff members showed their support for coach Gladding by shaving their heads in front of the student body. The teams both played inspired ball that night, as they went on to both get wins. Crisfield’s girls team showed their support for coach Gladding as well, as before their game, every player and head coach Bozman presented coach Gladding with flowers in a very classy move.
