UPDATE: Teen charged for armed ATM robbery in Cambridge

Police in Cambridge say they have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery from back in October.

Cambridge Police say on October 21, a man had just taken money out of an ATM on Gay Street, when he was approached from behind in a parking lot on Poplar Street.

The armed man, along with two others, then demanded money. They three apparently attempted to take the victim to his vehicle, but got startled and fled. Police say on December 17, their investigation led to the arrest of a 16-year-old boy.

He was charged with robbery and theft, and is being held by Juvenile Services pending action by the court.
