UPDATE: Gas leak cleared in Downtown Salisbury

The Salisbury Fire Department was on the scene of a reported gas leak in Downtown Salisbury, on Wednesday morning. They arrived on scene around 10:00 AM.
We’re told that two employees from the West Main Street building were feeling ill. The building contains a dress shop, Roadie Joe’s and Remedy Church, among other businesses.
Officials with the Fire Department tell us that Roadie Joe’s had a new stove installed, and one of the pilot lights went out sometime overnight, causing the leak. After working to get the gas out of the building, they cleared the scene about an hour later.
