UPDATE: Fletcher sentenced for Dover police involved shooting

A Dover man at the center of a police involved shooting that happened back in August, has entered a plea.
Twenty one-year-old Terrance Fletcher was sentenced to eight years in prison as part of a deal reached on Wednesday morning. He’s the man who led Dover Police on a foot chase back in August, after reportedly being seen with a gun.
Authorities shot and injured Fletcher during that pursuit. Fletcher later admitted to having a gun. He was indicted on felony weapons charges in November, but pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed deadly weapon on Wednesday.
While he was sentenced to eight years, that sentence will be suspended after five months for a year of probation.
