UPDATE: $90k in damages caused by Grasonville house fire

The cause of a house fire in Grasonville on Sunday, remains under investigation.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the blaze started just after 12:35 AM, at a two story home on Perry’s Corner Road. Twenty five firefighters from Grasonville, Queen Anne’s, and Kent Island responded to the scene, and had the single alarm blaze under control in about an hour. The fire was reportedly discovered by a passerby.

Investigators say where the flames started, and just want caused them, remain under investigation. Damages are estimated to total $90,000. No injuries were reported.
