UPDATE: 5-vehicle crash under investigation

Authorities are investigating a five-vehicle collision early Friday evening.

We’re told the crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. Friday on Route 50 eastbound.

According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, five cars were involved.

We’ve learned the injuries were minor.

Maryland State Police troopers were also assisting on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.
