Two dead after two apparent murder-suicide in Accomack County

Police in Accomack County say two people are dead, after what appears to be a murder suicide.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says they, along with the Onley Police Department, responded to Maple Street in Onley, for reports of one person deceased, and another with life threatening injuries, inside a home. Once on scene, Deputies and Officers say they found 52-year-old Xiaoliang Wang dead, and 45-year-old Hongmei Tan suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Tan was reportedly rushed to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, where she was then pronounced dead. Investigators say the incident appears to be a murder-suicide, but that investigation is on-going, while the autopsy results are pending.
