Two men have been charged in connection to two armed robberies in Kent County, that happened in one night.

Harrington Police say around 1:35 AM on Friday, Officers responded to the Valero on South DuPont Highway, for reports of an armed robbery. Once on scene, Police say they learned that a man had walked into the store, armed with a handgun, and demanded money, before fleeing on foot.

Officers reportedly searched the area, looking for a suspect matching the description, and noticed a man running on Peck Avenue, near Dickerson Street, who fit and was apparently wearing the same clothing as the suspect. Police say they then stopped, and arrested the man, 25-year-old David Surette, of Dover, during which they found the stolen money, and a BB gun that were both used in the robbery.
