Tolley Theater owner to file under Freedom of Information Act

Gene Tolley wants to look at an engineering report to which he says he was denied access. Tolley owns the Tolley theater in Cambridge. His home was condemned following the partial collapse of the Hearn Building. He plans to file under the Freedom of Information Act tomorrow morning to gain access to that report.

Tolley says he reached out to his city commissioner about getting one of the engineering reports conducted on the Hearn building. However, he says no one would let him.

47 ABC spoke with that commissioner who says the city attorney wanted to hold on to that report. We’re told he did not give a specific reason as to why Tolley couldn’t have it.
