Sunday morning Salisbury house fire ruled accidental

A house fire in Salisbury has been ruled as accidental. The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says a neighbor discovered the flames just after 1:40 AM on Sunday, at the two story Davis Street home.

According to the report, fifteen firefighters from Salisbury Fire Department’s Station 16 and 1 responded to the scene, and had the fire under control in about ten minutes.

No injuries were reported. Investigators say the flames started in the laundry room, and have been ruled as accidental. The fire was apparently caused by an electrical issue. Damages are reportedly estimated to total $30,000.
