Snow Hill Can’t Close Deal Against High Point

The Snow Hill boys basketball team dropped a tough game Tuesday afternoon when they fell to High Point 49-47. The Eagles will now return to regular season games.
The Eagles would jump out to a quick lead thanks to hot shooting from Ameer Fisher. He would connect on a couple shots from the outside, while being able to penetrate to the rack for scores as the Eagles would take a lead into the locker room. High Point would start a comeback in the third quarter and would cut Snow Hills lead down to just 2 before Takhai Wise would find Amonty Allen on a leak out for a and 1 finish. A few plays later, Wise nearly brought the house down with a monster one handed slam. Snow Hill would take a 6 point lead into the 4th, but watch as High Point would get out in the open court and continue to fight their way back. Snow Hill would find themselves down 2 with just 3 seconds left, as Fisher would be forced to launch a desperation 3 from midcourt, but it would hit off the backboard no good.
