Seahawks show strength in well rounded win

The Stephen Decatur boys basketball team made a big statement in the Bayside south, defeating Wi-Hi 90-62 on Tuesday night in Berlin.
The Seahawks took an early advantage in the first, going on numerous runs and eventually leading 24-19 after one quarter. Things began to get away from the Indians in the second quarter, and they found themselves trailing 49-32 at halftime.
Decatur would begin the second half on an 8-1 run, and extend their lead over 20 points. The Indians would not get any closer in the second half as they struggled to score while Decatur put in basket after basket.
Ke’ve Aluma led Decatur with 21 points, Kevon Voyles finished with 18, and Ja’Ron Johnson had 13. For Wi-Hi, Devante Dixon scored 16 points, Jordan Brittingham had 12, and Barry Gaines scored 11.
