Seaford holds off Delmar for Henlopen South win

The Seaford Blue Jays moved to 3-0 in the Henlopen South, defeating Delmar 71-60 Thursday night in Seaford.
The Blue Jays held a 30-28 lead at the half, and a one point lead after three, before exploding in the fourth, gaining separation and pulling away for the win.
Ja’Quan Darling led the Blue Jays with 22 points on the night, despite missing some time late in the third quarter after rolling an ankle. Shyheim Mitchell of Delmar did it all for the Wildcats, dishing off for points, but also scoring on his own. Mitchell also finished with 22 points.
Blue Jays point guard An’Drez Jones contributed 17 points, going 9-11 from the free throw line, while forward Raheim Smith threw in 16 points. Delmar’s Dejour Brown was the only other player in double figures, finishing with 16.
