Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival seeks professional participants

A sweet local food festival is looking for additional skilled participants for their upcoming event.

The Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival says they are looking for industry professional participants to participate in the 2016 event. The 2016 Chocolate Festival will be on Saturday, April 2 at the Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center, in Rehoboth Beach.

Officials say the 2015 event sold out, and more than 800 attendees are expected for the 2016 date. There are eight categories, brownie, cake, cookie, pie, ice cream, other, and non-edible showpiece. Proceeds from the event benefit Rehoboth Beach Main Street.
