Queen Anne’s Drop Their First Game Of The Year

The Queen Anne’s basketball team has been dominant throughout the 2015 season and they looked to remain undefeated heading into the new year, but unfortunately, Indian Creek managed to steal the win away from the Lions.

Indian Creek jumped out to an early lead 19-10 after the first quarter and they would continue to hold onto that lead heading into halftime, 33-26. The Lions were down 7 points heading into the second half, and there was a lot of time to get the comeback win. Throughout the third quarter, the Queen Anne’s scored 2 points more than the Eagles to make it just a 5 point game heading into the final quarter of the game. However, Indian Creek went on a nice run to take a 54-47 lead with just five minutes remaining in the game and it would get worse from there as Queen Anne’s drops their first game of the year, 67-53.
