Police arrest New York woman in Milford prostitution investigation

Officers from the Milford Police Department say, on Thursday they arrested 46-year-old Guang Yang of Flushing, New York following a prostitution investigation at a Milford spa.

Investigators say, Yang offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money, to an undercover officer at King Spa on North Dupont Highway. After the officer reportedly refused the offer and left the business, a search was conducted of the establishment. According to reports police seized documents, electronic devices, and an undisclosed amount of money from the business. As officers entered the business Yang reportedly attempted to flea out a rear door, but was apprehended by an officer who was stationed there.

Yang was taken into custody and charged with prostitution and resisting arrest. She was released on a $750 unsecured bond and is scheduled for a court hearing at the Kent County Court of Common Pleas on January 20th.
