Pocomoke Boys Stay Perfect, Top Crisfield

The Pocomoke boys basketball team stayed perfect on the year Friday night with their 72-35 win over Crisfield. The win improves the Warriors to 5-0, while the loss drops the Crabbers to 3-4.

Pocomoke would apply their full court pressure to start, forcing the Crabbers into several turnovers. Tyler Nixon and Tyrone Matthews would turn those opportunities into lay ups at the other end as they quickly built a double digit lead. Crisfield would try and fight back as they were able to break the press a couple times, often resulting in a lay up for Justin Cohen. Pocomoke though would find success with their pressure more times than not. The Warriors continued to push in the second quarter as they would roll to the win.

Pocomoke returns to work Monday when they take on Stephen Decatur, while Crisfield will take on Kent County on Tuesday.
