Pocomoke Boys Edged By IDEA Charter

The Pocomoke boys basketball team was in a dog fight Saturday afternoon, as they hung with IDEA Charter before eventually falling 93-78. The Warriors would come out of the gates and grab a 5 point lead after Tyrone Matthews got a transition bucket, followed by a 3 pointer from Tyler Nixon. Then Charter’s size would take over. They would control the glass and take a double digit lead into halftime. Pocomoke would continued to battle in the second half as they would cut the deficit within 10 several times. Nixon would do all he could, pouring in a game high 30 points, but he couldn’t ever get his team back over the top.

Pocomoke returns to the court Tuesday when they play Walkersville.
