Parkside’s Strong First Half Enough For Win Over Bennett

The Parkside girls basketball team took the floor against Bennett on Friday night looking to string together their 4th straight win. 

The Rams did not leave room for the Clippers to do much of anything in the first half only allowing Bennett to score four total points throughout the first 2 quarters of play. Kayla Handy managed to notch a double-double in Friday’s contest with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Also in double-digit numbers was Deja Purnell who added 13 points for the Rams. 

Parkside got the win, 65-15 over the Clippers with their next opponent – less than one week away against St. Michaels for win number five.
