Parkside Girls Roll St. Michaels

The Parkside girls basketball team picked up yet another win tonight with a 71-14 win over St. Michaels. The win improves the Rams to 5-1, while the loss drops the Saints to. 0-6.

Parkside would jump out out to a big lead as Kayla Handy and Deja Purnell who would dominate the paint. After they got going, Rachel Bratten would find the bottom of the net from a couple shots from the outside. The Saints would try and get something going as they would get their first bucket in the first half from Melissa Richardson. But the offense never got on track as the Rams would coast to the win.

Parkside and St. Michaels would return to work in the Governor’s Challenge.
