Parkside Drops First Game In Salisbury

The Parkside Rams have been undefeated throughout the season in the Bayside, but Theodore Roosevelt came to town on Saturday for the Governor’s Challenge and stirred things up in Salisbury.

The game was very even throughout the first quarter, but Roosevelt took a 2 point lead in the first quarter – and extended that lead to 7 points heading into the locker rooms at halftime, 39-32. However, coming back from half, the Warriors put on a show scoring 26 points in the third quarter alone and held the Rams to just 7 points to make it a 60-39 game heading into the 4th quarter. The Rough Riders continued to push on throughout the 4th to hold onto the lead and notch the win, 76-50 over Parkside.
