One injured in shooting in Delmar, Police investigating

Police in Delmar are investigating, after they say a man was shot several times.

Delmar Police say on Sunday evening, Officers were contacted by a 35-year-old man, who had been shot numerous times.

According to the report, the man was visiting a friend on East State Street, when someone walked into the home, and shot the victim twice, before fleeing.

Police say the victim was rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment where he remains in stable condition. The investigation is reportedly continuing at this time.
