One arrested, one wanted for robbery in Dover

Police in Dover say they have arrested one person, and are looking for another, after an evening robbery.

The Dover Police Department says on Tuesday night around 7:30 PM, a 34-year-old man was walking on South Little Creek Road, near Safeway, when he was approached by two young men.

According to the report, the young men threatened to shoot the man if he didn’t stop, before taking an undisclosed amount of cash from him. The two then apparently fled. Officers say they then responded, and searched the area, where they took 19-year-old Malik Washington, of Dover, into custody.

He was then charged with robbery second degree, conspiracy second degree, and terroristic threatening. He was then was reportedly ordered to be held on a $2,500 secured bond.
