New MD app helps to navigate the legal world

A new smartphone app released today could help you navigate the sometimes confusing world of law practice.

The free Maryland Law Help app is now an online hub for those seeking a lawyer or mediator, state codes and rules, or low-cost legal help.

In addition, the app features self-help videos for those without representation.

There’s no question that it contains helpful resources, but as attorney Luke Rommel tells 47 ABC, before doing anything officially seek an expert opinion.

“Atleast consult with a lawyer first. A person might be perfectly capable of representing himself on occasion, but to do it based on internet research might be a little bit dangerous.”

The app is available for Apple devices via the App Store and for Android devices in the Google Play Store.
