Mother charged for leaving infant in the middle of a Dorchester County road

Police in Dorchester County say, on Monday they arrested 23-year-old Kameisha Perry of Baltimore after she apparently left her two month old child in the middle of the road on Jones Village Road.
According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday around 3:30 AM, Perry was visiting with the child’s father when she got in an argument with him and proceeded to leave their child in the middle of the road, in a car seat. Police say, the parents were later located near Prospect Heights about a mile from where the child was abandoned. The child was reportedly found unharmed and has been left in the care of a family member.
Perry has been charged with second degree child abuse, neglect of a minor, and reckless endangerment. She is being held on a $65,000 bond.
Police say there is also a warrant out for the father in this incident.
