Milford Boys Basketball Is 2-0

The Milford boys basketball team is looking to repeat their 2014-2015 season, and go ever further past their accomplishments from last season – and so far so good.

The Bucs started out their season with a 22 point win over Delmar and continued to have success with a win over St. Andrews on Thursday night.

Milford got off to a hot start going on in 8-0 run over Saint Andrews, but the Cardinals slowly crept their way back in the game to end out the quarter at 12-8. In the second quarter, Brion Murray threw down a huge dunk getting his teammate’s and the crowd pumped up even more.  The Bucs were ready to defend their home court over St. Andrews pushing ahead and taking a lead at halftime over the Cardinals.

Milford continued to push through out the second half as well and would finish out the game on top with a 36-33 win over St. Andrews – a big victory for this Milford Bucs team.

The Milford Bucs have a quick turnaround and will face another Henlopen opponent – Woodbridge – for their first road game of the season.
