Local’s Shine In Crab Bowl

Some of the top players from around the state of Maryland got to represent their high schools one final time Saturday during the annual Crab Bowl game. 13 players from the Bayside Conference made the trip over to McDaniel College to play this year. Team Washington would jump out in front early before defensive play sparked by Cambridge SD’s Emory Wongus, Parkside’s Rodney Dawson & Stephen Decatur’s Ernest Shockley would help turn the tide. Kent County’s Stevie Curran would be under center and help as his team began to get their offense going. Team Washington would fight to get back within 3 points late, but could never tie the game up as they fell to team Baltimore 31-28.
