Lions outrun Firebirds in second half to take win

The Queen Anne’s Lions defeated the Arcadia Firebirds 53-43 in the first day of Governor’s Challenge inside the gym at Wicomico High School Saturday afternoon.

The Lions led 23-22 at the half, and rolled on in the second half, outscoring Arcadia 30-21 to get the win.

The Lions move to take on Indian Creek in the championship game of Bracket 3 on Monday, December 28th, at 12:45 on Court 1 at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center
