Lions lead wire to wire to down Warriors

The Queen Anne’s boys basketball team started off the game leading 9-0, and never looked back, winning 61-23 in the Peake Tipoff, at Chesapeake College Saturday afternoon.

After their first run, the Lions took a 20-5 lead after one quarter, and a 37-12 lead at halftime. Cassius Warren had 17 points at the break, while Charles Hynson had 7.

The Lions kept the pressure up in the second half, letting up just 9 points in the second half, on the way to their first win of the season.
