Lake Forest Tops Delmar In Season Opener

The Lake Forest boys basketball team hit the road Friday night and topped Delmar in both teams season opener 57-37. The win improves the Spartans to 1-0, while the loss drops the Wildcats to 0-1.

Lake Forest would jump out to a quick lead in this one, taking a 24 point lead into the locker room. Amir White and Dominique Griffith would find their shooting touch and light up the scoreboard. The Wildcats would try and make a run in the second half led by Dejour Brown and Kavon Trader. The run was short lived though as the Spartans would grab control of the game early and roll to the win.

Lake Forest returns to the court Tuesday when they host Laurel, while Delmar will take on Red Lion.
