Kent County Trounces Polytech

The Kent County boys basketball continued their strong play of late as they trounced on Polytech Monday night, defeating them 78-58 in the Governor’s Challenge. Both teams return to their regular season for their next games.
Polytech would jump out to a quick 11-3 lead thanks to some strong play fromVictor Crews who finished with a team high 13. But after their fast start, the game was all Trojans. Manny Camper got going in the first half, connecting on a couple shots from the outside while also finishing around the rim. Marcquan Greene then hit a 3 at the buzzer to give Kent County a 15 point lead headed to the 4th. There Shemar Turner would bring them home, as he finished time and time again at the rim on his way to a game high 24 points.
