Jarrett Stokes trial pushed back to March

19-year-old Jarrett Stokes, one of three men arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a Fruitland teenager Rakim Russell, appeared in court Friday morning.
Stokes waived his right to speedy trial. His lawyer tells 47 ABC there’s further discovery and ballistic analysis that needs to be completed.
Stokes’ trial was scheduled to begin next week, but it’s been pushed back to March first. He’s facing fifteen charges including first degree murder, and is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.
