Information sought in Dover Pizza Hut robbery investigation

Police in Dover are looking for information, after the reported armed robbery of a local pizza shop.

The Dover Police Department says just before 11:30 PM on Sunday, a man walked into the Pizza Hit on North DuPont Highway, pointed a handgun at the employee, and demanded money. The employee reportedly handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, before the suspect fled the premises.

Police describe the suspect was a black man, standing between 5’8? and 5’10” tall, weighing 175-200lbs, and last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a black cloth over his face, dark grey sweatpants, dark grey snow vest, and light grey sneakers.
