HALO asking for continued support

Turkey day has come and gone and although the Salisbury-based ministry HALO has made good use of donations thus far, they’re asking for continued support.

Executive Director Celeste Savage tells 47 ABC that it’s usual after a holiday or holiday season for support to hit a bit of a lull.

She says the donation of time or food is always helpful. Food can be brought to HALO’s Center of Hope location at South Boulevard.

“We just really appreciate the people coming on that do come on board, our volunteers and the donations that come in and we continue to need that to keep us helping those that are less fortunate.”, Savage tells 47 ABC.

Savage also says that HALO is in desperate need of volunteers.Training takes place on the third Sunday of every month.
