Habitat for humanity on track for most successful year in history

Habitat for Humanity in Wicomico County is on pace to have their most successful year yet.
In the past two months the non-profit organization has already been able to place two families in need into homes.
“Our volunteerism hours, we’re exceeding last year by 127 percent, which is unbelievable and donations are very strong and we just couldn’t do without the support of the community,” said Molly Hilligoss, executive director for Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity had set a goal of buildng 25 new homes over the next five years.
Wednesday they reported that with two homes already done this year, and more in the works, that they are currently on pace to meet that goal.
