Grandstand construction begins at Sea Gull Stadium

Things are shaping up, construction-wise, for the Salisbury University Seagulls.
Installation on the arguably most important component of SU’s new stadium continued today the seating.
47 ABC had our first look at the new $19-million stadium Monday and the façade is all but finished.
Crews are now focused on the grandstand seating that will feature 24 rows, seating some 3,000 Sea Gull fans.
This new stadium will serve as the home of the SU football, lacrosse, and field hockey teams.
Project Manager Matt Groves tells 47 ABC, “Construction has been really good. We had some issues with the rain, the weather, but contractors are staying on top of things and working extra time to get everything done.”
Stadium construction is expected to wrap up, as originally scheduled, in February.
