Grandson of former president dead at 28

Jeremy Carter, the 28-year-old grandson of former president Jimmy Carter, has died.

Carter reportedly broke the news to his Plains, Georgia church on Sunday.

His grandson Jeremy was apparently not feeling well and lay down to take a nap Sunday. CNN reports his heart stopped, and the family tried performing CPR before rushing him to a hospital.

A member of Carter’s church says despite the loss, he taught Sunday school as he has for many years.
