Four arrested on drug charges in Queen Anne

Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force says four people have been arrested after an investigation revealed an active methamphetamine lab.

According to the report, Dena Anthony-Lister, John Lorence, Chad Coultas and Richard Gaines Jr., were all taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at a house on 1st Street in Queen Anne.

The Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force says the Caroline County Narcotics Task Force, the Kent County Narcotics Task Force, members of the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office and a uniformed trooper from the Centreville Maryland State Police Barrack, all assisted in a knock and announce search warrant on Tuesday, December 22.

Authorities reportedly found an active meth lab, numerous items related to the manufacturing of meth, including Coleman fuel, Sudafed, Lithium strips, plastic tubing and containers. Investigators say they also recovered a small amount of processed meth, a small amount of heroin, two Suboxone strips, digital scales, and packaging materials.

According to records, law enforcement have responded to the home multiple time for complaints of both heroin use, and sales over the last two years.

QADTF says they have also previously served a search warrant on the home for heroin sales, uniformed officers have responded to the home for suspected heroin overdoses, and officers recently arrested multiple wanted individuals found in the residence.

Anthony-Lister reportedly has a previous criminal history for assault, burglary and felony drug charges is now receiving additional charges of the manufacture of meth, the possession of methamphetamine, the possession of heroin and the possession paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

John Lorence, who apparently also has a previous criminal history for assault and burglary, is being additionally charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, the possession of methamphetamine, the possession of heroin, the possession paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Chad Coultas, was charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, the possession of methamphetamine, the possession of heroin, the possession paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance and Richard Gaines Jr., is being charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, the possession of methamphetamine, the possession of heroin, the possession paraphernalia and possession of Suboxone, according to authorities.

The Task Force says, Anthony-Lister was initially held on $150,000 bond which was lowered at a bail review to $100,000.

Investigators say, Lorence was held on $50,000 bond while Coultas was held on $75,000 bond which was lowered at a bail review to $30,000. Gaines was reportedly initially held on $100,000 bond which was also apparently  lowered at a bail review to $30,000.

All four are behind bars at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center according to Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force.
