Econo Lodge robber allegedly in custody

Detectives of the Easton Police Department say they have an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Andre Moses Jr. of Easton in connection to an armed robbery at a hotel in Easton.
According to reports, the incident happened on December 19 at about 2:30 AM. Police say, Moses entered the Econo Lodge on Ocean Gateway and asked the night shift front desk clerk if any rooms were available. Moses then reportedly walked towards the north side of the front desk and pulled a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. Police say, Moses then handed the victim a plastic shopping bag, which the victim reportedly filled with about $200. He then reportedly walked out the front door.
On Saturday, Detectives of the Easton Police Department say they assisted the Anne Arundel County Police Department with the execution of a search and seizure warrant at Moses residence, on Lynnbrook Court in Easton.
Police say Moses is involved in three armed robberies in Anne Arundel County and taken into custody. after the search and seizure warrant. Also during his arrest police say they found evidence tying him to the Econo Lodge robbery.
Moses is being charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault, theft and related charges. He is currently in the custody of the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
