Easton house fire causes $170k in damages, cause under investigation

The cause of a Thursday afternoon house fire in Easton, remains under investigation.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says a passerby discovered the fire around 12:10 PM, at a two story home on Tallulah Lane. Twenty firefighters from Easton, Cordova, and Trappe Volunteer Fire Departments reportedly responded, and had the one alarm blaze under control in about an hour.
Investigators say the flames started in the attic, but just what caused them, is still under investigation. Damages are estimated to total $170,000. No injuries were reported.
