(AP) – Delaware State Police say a Dover man is facing charges after investigators discovered he was keeping marijuana in a storage facility.
Police announced Thursday that Kent County Drug Task Force members went to the Liberto Self Storage facility on Monday night after receiving a tip that a man was storing marijuana there.
Police said in a press release that 34-year-old Malik Nasir was found in the parking lot, where he was taken into custody. When the container was searched, police say they found more than 3 kilograms of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $350 in suspected drug proceeds.
Police say a search of Nasir’s home turned up several guns, ammunition and more than $5,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
