Delaware State Troopers help spread holiday cheer

On Tuesday morning, Delaware State Troopers helped to spread around the Christmas cheer.

As a part of Troop 5’s ‘Needy Family Project’ troopers made Christmas visits to several families they adopted this Christmas season.

We’re told among them a military family several senior families and the foster children of the Murphy School.

“Delaware State Police explorers and the troopers get together with community members and go out to deliver these presents to these people that are less fortunate and definitely in need.” Sgt. Richard Bratz tells 47 ABC.

He says the program is in it’s 32nd year.
